A Simple Invoice Template is a template where you enter the information that’s pertinent. This is the information that shows up on the invoice.  A simple to use invoice template is a template that is self explanatory, one that’s easy to follow.

What you’ll need is what has been created here.  The Profit Pal Mobile Invoicing App is designed to be simple.  The template allows you to create your very own simple invoices.

Let’s look at what’s involved within a computer program. What the form does is to put things into a logical format and with a flow that makes sense.

Normally what you’ll see, are these empty boxes. They’re there for you to enter the information that’s needed to make sense of the work or service that you’re doing.

What you’ll want to see in this form is what will work best for the type of business you are actually in. This is why you should look a little deeper into whatever app you decide to purchase. And find the one which was designed in a way that makes sense for your type of business.

Its not a one size fits all situation. Some of the apps out there are trying to be a one size fits all’, but that’s not necessarily what you want to have.

The Profit Pal App for Specific Users

Our app was designed with specific users in mind. So those boxes that I described earlier are related to what you’ll need if you’re in a service business. They are there because they are useful to people in the Trades’. People who work as Plumbers, Electricians and Landscapers, and many more trades. You see we are not trying to be for everyone!

It has to be among the easiest templates to use. All you do is tap the create company template icon in the menu to start. There you’ll enter the company name, address, phone number, etcetera, and the app will save that information, and put it on all your invoices.

So whenever you enter the data for a new job and save the job, that data will be saved into a job file. And it will be used to fill in the invoices you create.

Those boxes that I mentioned earlier, have titles like Hourly Rate, Number of Hours, once entered the app will calculate those.

In this app there are boxes for travel expenses should you decide to use them. If you don’t charge for travel, then just enter a “0” into those boxes. They were put there so that you don’t lose any money on your travel to the new jobs.

The Materials used are Important

One area that is very important to Tradesmen out there is keeping track of the materials that go into a job. We know this to be true because we had a Licensed Plumbing company approach us and ask for this feature to be included in the app.

Because the materials used on a job are very important to you we added the feature. With it, you’ll create a list of all of the parts you carry on your work truck. Now when you add those items to the job file the app saves them and automatically adds them to the invoice of that job.

Since a Plumbing contractor told us that he needed this feature because he didn’t know where all of his parts were going.

So things like that have been thought of and put into our app.

It’s just that simple! A simple invoice template can make your working life much easier.
